CAS International
CAS International (Comité Anti Stierenvechten) is the biggest organization in the world which works exclusively on the abolition of bullfighting and cruel fiestas (festivals) during which bulls and other animals are tortured. Together with our colleague organizations, we want to end this animal abuse as soon as possible.

Bullfighting
Bullfighting is one of the most cruel forms of animal abuse. Every year, more than 250,000 bulls and cows are tortured and killed worldwide during bullfights and similar events.
Also during fiestas ('village festivals'), tens of thousands of bulls and other animals are severely maltreated.

Protest!
CAS International regularly conducts peaceful protest campaigns against bullfighting and cruel fiestas with animals. We also support our colleague organizations by drawing attention to their campaigns. Often, these campaigns produce good results, as you can see on our achievements page.

Promotion of bull suffering by the media, travel organizations and companies
If you encounter any promotion of bullfighting and/or cruel fiestas with animals (such as the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona) by the media, travel organizations or companies in non-bullfighting countries such as The Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom, please write them a polite letter to ask them to stop promoting animal abuse. Please inform us about this promotion as well, so we can address the issue ourselves.
Download an example letter which you can use for your personal letter. Please make sure all data in the letter apply to the promotion of bull suffering you react on, otherwise the media/company/organization will not take you seriously.
